Unlike traditional hot water extraction, which often introduces excessive use of spraying water required that saturates fabric and padding – potentially leading to prolonged drying times, dampness, and mold buildup – our approach is fundamentally different. It's important to note that typical household hot water, like that from a kettle, starts at 100°C but cools significantly by the time its applied to a cleaning equipment to apply to your upholstery when cleaning.

It is recommended to get your upholstery professionally cleaned every 12-18 months is a good general guideline, consider increasing the frequency to every 6 months or even more often if you have pets, children, allergies, or if the furniture sees heavy daily use. Regular vacuuming and immediate spot cleaning between deep cleans are just as important as deep cleaning, and will also help maintain your upholstery's freshness, but does not replace the need for upholstery cleaning services

Typically, upholstery requires  6-8 hours to dry after steam cleaning, though this can vary. Factors such as type of material, air circulation, humidity levels, and the ambient temperature in your home can influence the drying time in some of the best conditions they can dry within 2-3 hours. Although the minim amount of water was used through wet steam, your upholstery will feel slightly damp to the touch immediately after the cleaning process

Just a heads-up: The dirtier your upholstery is, the more effort we'll put into getting them sparkling clean! That means a bit more attention and a little longer drying time maybe required, but it's all for the best results. This is also why sticking to those recommended cleaning intervals really helps.

• Your Upholstery Material Type:  Stains react differently, and we tailor our approach to protect your specific material type.
• Previous Cleaning Attempts: The use of household cleaners can sometimes alter a stain's chemistry.
• Severity of the Stain: Deep penetration into the upholstery backing or for permanent colour loss caused by substances like bleach.
• Oxidation: Aged oxidized stains are more challenging than fresh spills.

Like an apple slice that turns brown after being cut. An oxidized stain on a upholstery is the result of the exact same chemical process. When a substance spilled on your upholstery  reacts with oxygen in the air over time. This chemical reaction changes the molecular structure of the spill, causing it to bond with the upholstery material on a chemical level. 

While we cannot guarantee every stain will be removed, we do guarantee is to apply our utmost expertise and effort to remove or significantly reduce the appearance of any stain. 

For most services, no call-out fee applies. A minimum call-out fee may only apply in two cases:

• Jobs under a minimum quote value
• Locations outside our standard service areas

For locations beyond our service areas, we often waive this fee entirely depending on the value of work booked and the travel distance.

If a call-out fee does apply, we keep it small, fair, and reasonable.
